Air Ambulance collects cheque from Jesse’s charitable walks

Last summer Jesse Norman did a series of walks and hikes with local people around his constituency to raise money for charity, in collaboration with Herefordshire Ramblers. Now the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has picked up a donation of £500 as a result.

Susie Godwin, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Fundraising Manager, recently visited Jesse's office to receive the donation, and was pictured there with Arthur Lee and Marika Kovacs of Herefordshire Ramblers. She said “We are so grateful to Jesse for the wonderful cheque for £500 in support of our work.

“The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receives no Government or Lottery funding, and we need to raise in excess of £6.5 million each year to keep our three airbases operational, 365 days a year in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and West Midlands. We are delighted that Jesse chose to support us, and it was a great pleasure to meet him and his fellow Herefordshire Ramblers.”

Jesse said “The Air Ambulance is a lifeline for many people in Herefordshire, especially those living in remote rural areas. We need to do everything we can to support them.”
