Jesse publishes first-ever Parliamentary Report, on his work as an MP

Jesse Norman, the MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, has published what is thought to be the first Parliamentary Report, setting out what he has achieved in Parliament and in Herefordshire since his election in 2010.

The report is designed as to give an overview of the main themes that Jesse has championed in the last four years, including protecting healthcare, boosting the local economy and extending education and opportunity for young people.

It also gives a flavour of what Jesse has done to influence the national agenda, and to raise Herefordshire’s profile in government. It charts Jesse’s successes in campaigning for the constituency, as well as areas where he had not or not yet succeeded. The report was designed and printed in Herefordshire and was produced at no cost to the taxpayer.

Commenting, Jesse said: “This Parliamentary Report reflects my belief in the importance of personal accountability. There is so much more that needs to be done to help Herefordshire to realise its potential, but I hope that this report will give local people the opportunity to judge me on what I have achieved, and to give me their feedback.

Copies of the report are available from Jesse’s office (Suite 3, Penn House, Broad Street, Hereford, HR4 9AP), or online or by emailing support@jesse4hereford.com.
